This little amount of "Early Days" has not a great deal of literary merit nor is it of particular interest to anyone coming to Vallejo during the past few years, but it is an accurate picture of the town itself in the 40s, 50s and also from information he derived from family, friends and members of the old Hook and Ladder Co.
