This report is concerned with the status of historic sites and places located in the Central Solano County Planning Area. which includes generally the communities of Fairfield, Suisun City, Green Valley, Suisun Valley, Rockville and Cordelia. When we use terms in this report such as "the Fairfield area," "the planning area" or "the area" we are actually referring collectively to all of these communities in central Solano County. The City of Vacaville Historic District Review Committee was appointed by the City Council to review the potential of an historic district in the Main Street area.
