ABSTRACT: This revised Course of Study is issued by the Board of Education so as to assign the recent state texts to the proper grades, and for the purpose of simplifying other portions of the work as required in the schools of the county. The Board feels satisfied that the Course issued in 1906 meets with the general approval of the teachers, since very few criticisms have heen offered regarding it. The teachers should concentrate principally upon the essential grammar school branches, such as Reading, Writing, Arithmetic, Grammar, Spelling, Composition, and United States History. Dan H.
