Rhyme and reason behind early Solano poet

Abstract: I don't suppose that most newcomers to Vacaville have ever heard of Edwin Markham. Some may have heard of the poem, "Man With a Hoe," but don't know that a man who once lived in the now-contentious Lagoon Valley wrote it. So, let's look at a little history of Charles Edwin Anson Markham and some interesting contradictions.
